My little elfs.....

Here's some shots of my little elf's and one little Santa. He he he.... They all had their Christmas parties yesterday and so we all had to have hats. They were awful cute, I must say. They all had a good time and are looking forward to their break. And of course, the all important day! I also added a shot of my early Christmas present. Well, it was both William and mine. We've been looking and wanting a dinning room table, a rather large one I might add, and we finally decided on one. So this is our Christmas, Anniversary and Birthdays for the year. I love it. It seats ten. We have more matching chairs coming later, so we had to improvise but it works. I love it. It's exactly what I wanted. If I don't get a chance to get back on here, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas. I love you all! Merry Christmas!

Missing out...

Here's a picture of Landon with an early Christmas present. He has thoroughly enjoyed it too, as you can see. My mom sent if for him and I just didn't want to figure out how to wrap it so he got it early. It's not like he isn't getting plenty more. Anyways, the main reason for this blog is to show you the other pictures. This is what he does when the big kids are in the back yard playing. He can't stand it. He's quite sure he's missing out on something. Nothing makes him happier than if they come get him and take him out too. But if they don't he just stands there in the window calling for them. It's pretty darn cute I must say. He just doesn't want to miss out on any of the fun...

Couple More...

Here's a few shots that we did of us just being normal. We did end up getting the top one blown up in black and white coloring and putting it up. It was just fun and not so formal. A whole lot more like we really are. They were just fun! :)

Christmas Pictures

Every couple of years we have a Family Portrait done. So here it is. We had some really great ones done this time. We really enjoyed having them done. They did an awesome job getting everyone to look, which is no easy task for a family of seven. That poor lady earned her money that night. He he he... no really everyone did great and we all enjoyed it. Which was a first, I might add. I will post a few more too. Enjoy!

Look Who's Walkin....

"Here I come... Momma." Look here, little stink has decided to try and walk. He can cruise across a room pretty well. It's by no means perfect but he's workin awful hard at it and as you can see he's quite pleased with himself. Of course, when he gets somewhat close he lunges for ya. But he's on the move. Can you believe we're approaching his first birthday so quickly. He was 10 months old on November 23rd. He's growing up so fast. He is such a joy! :) He wears me out but that's okay, I don't mind so much. Won't be long now...

Letter to Santa....

Dear Santa,

I've been a good mom all year. I've fed, cleaned and cuddled my children on demand, visited their doctor's office more than my doctor, sold sixty-two cases of candy bars to raise money to plant a shade tree on the school playground. I was hoping you could spread my list out over several Christmases, since I had to write this letter with my son's red crayon, on the back of a receipt in the laundry room between cycles, and who knows when I'll find anymore free time in the next 18 years.

Here are my Christmas wishes:

I'd like a pair of legs that don't ache (in any color, except purple, which I already have) and arms that don't hurt or flap in the breeze; but are strong enough to pull my screaming child out of the candy aisle in the grocery store.

I'd also like a waist, since I lost mine somewhere in the seventh month of my last pregnancy.

If you're hauling big ticket items this year I'd like fingerprint resistant windows and a radio that only plays adult music; a television that doesn't broadcast any programs containing talking animals; and a refrigerator with a secret compartment behind the crisper where I can hide to talk on the phone.

On the practical side, I could use a talking doll that says, "Yes, Mommy" to boost my parental confidence, along with five kids who don't fight and three pairs of jeans that will zip all the way up without the use of power tools.

I could also use a recording of Tibetan monks chanting "Don't eat in the living room" and "Take your hands off your brother," because my voice seems to be just out of my children's hearing range and can only be heard by the dog.

If it's too late to find any of these products, I'd settle for enough time to brush my teeth and comb my hair in the same morning, or the luxury of eating food, warmer than room temperature without it being served in a Styrofoam container.

If you don't mind, I could also use a few Christmas miracles to brighten the holiday season. Would it be too much trouble to declare ketchup a vegetable? It will clear my conscience immensely. It would be helpful if you could coerce my children to help around the house without demanding payment as if they were the bosses of an organized crime family.

Well, Santa, the buzzer on the dryer is ringing and my son saw my feet under the laundry room door. I think he wants his crayon back. Have a safe trip and remember to leave your wet boots by the door and come in and dry off so you don't catch cold.

Help yourself to cookies on the table but don't eat too many or leave crumbs on the carpet.

Yours Always,
MOM

P.S. One more thing...you can cancel all my requests if you can keep my children young enough to believe in Santa.

It's begingin to look alot like Christmas....

Hey Ya'll! Hope this finds all well... Well, we put up all our Christmas decorations this past Saturday. William had to work so the kids and I got it all done. They had alot of fun helping decorate. We had Christmas music playing and just got all excited about the Holidays. Even Landon, helped. He was the Christmas Tree box holder. he he he... He really enjoyed climbing up and down on that big box. So far he's left the tree alone. I assume it will be a battle but so far it has not been an issue. I bought him a little Santa hat, which does not fit his fat head, and sat him by the tree for a picture so that's the only time he's even touched it. I'm sure he will though. Anyways, we are all in the Christmas mood here. It will be here before I know it. I guess I should get busy buying gifts huh??? Love you all!!!!

Allen's 5th Birthday....

Allen celebrated his 5th Birthday on Thanksgiving Day this year. Although, I think he would have not rather shared that day. He of course, would have liked to have the day be all about him. But I think he had a great day inspite of the day. I thought it was quite neat to share that day with Thanksgiving and he probably will to when he's older if it happens to fall on that day again. He got a new bike, which it has been too cold and rainy for him to ride, and he got some hot wheel cars, socks and the bestest bat man suit you ever seen. I was helping him put it on and he said, "mom I think I'm just going to die. This is the coolest suit." He loves that suit. In fact I made him take it off last night so I could wash it. And of course, the first words out of his mouth this morning were, "is it clean mom?" He's a batman freakazoid. Anyways, We are so very Thankful for him on this very special day! Oh, and I added him eating a turkey leg. He insisted on eating the turkey leg for Thanksgiving dinner. He managed to eat every last bite of it too. I'm going to have to get a job just to feed this boy. And very soon I might add....

Snow....

Believe it or not we had snow here, in Texas on Thanksgiving. Could we be so lucky to have some on Christmas? Na, probably not, this is Texas. It will be a balmy 70-80 degrees. he he he....But it sure was nice to see even if it was a light dusting. Gotta love the beautiful snow.

Sweet Baby Bottoms....

Well, all babies have to do it at one time or another. Friday as I came around the corner this was the scene I came upon. But the thing of it was he acted like it was my fault and he was mighty put out about the whole thing. He just kept holding it up in the air like he was saying, "do you see this lady? It's just soaked! I'm mean what's a boy got to do to get a diaper chang around here?" It was quite cute, I must say. I will admit he was pretty wet and he did need it changed. He just thought I needed a little help. I certainly wasn't moving near fast enough for him.

More from this weekend...

Here's a few more pictures from this weekend at Fossil Rim. My brother came up and he went with us. So there is one of him and the kids. Of course, the boys have to act like they have no brains. Then my brother took a good pictures of all of us. It actually turned out really well, with the exception of Williams mouth being wide open. Won't tell ya what that was all about. Will leave that to your imagination. Anyways, I best get off here. There's things to be done, diapers to be changed, and kids to be chasin...

Okay, I know this picture is awful but when I put it on here I thought it was a little better. But now I can't seem to remove it. It was one of those I took myself, ya know how those are. But it looked so much better when it was smaller. So I guess we're just stuck looking at it. Sorry!

Lauren's 9th Birthday...

Today is our little Princess's Birthday. She is nine. I can't hardly believe it. My brother came for the weekend so we had cake (Milky Way cake, yum) with him and opened all her presents. She wanted to go back to Fossil Rim so that's were we took her. She asked for a new bike so that's what she got. She had a great birthday! :)

Cutie Patootii....

Landon, helping daddy drive, aren't they cute? And he really enjoys looking at all the animals... as you can see. Or maybe he just like hanging out the window. I'm not sure which, either way he has a great time.

Just a few more...

Here's all of them and this one just needed me to give it a kiss... he he he...

Oh how I love the Giraffes...

Aren't they just the most Beautiful, Magnificent animals? God was having an exceptionally good day when he made the Giraffes. I just love them. They are so Spectacular!!! I just love every detail about them. From the intricate patch work, long slender bodies, and even those very long tongues. Just Wonderful...We went back to Fossil Rim today and we got to feed one. One of the pictures is of him/her eating out of my hand. I loveeeedddd it... It was so sweet. We got to spend a good amount of time with them today. Then I was able to just get some really great shots. Check out the one with it's tongue hanging out. Is that great or what? God really out did himself. I mean really, think about this, just look at the ostrich (dooky bird, to my kids) and then look at the Giraffes or zebras. Now really, I think God was having a really bad day when he created those darn birds. The poor things... But thankfully he had more good days than bad, huh? Anyways, I just couldn't help sharing them. I just love them...

My first cookie....

I made some chocolate chip cookies on Friday and I let Landon have his first cookie. As you can see he really really enjoyed it. He had to have a bath afterwards but it was darn good....
