Manic Monday....

Is it Monday already??? What happened? I think it totally skipped over us or something. We had the craziest weekend and I feel a bit jipped. Like that old song, "I wish it were a Sunday..." I woke up in a funk and just totally wasted an entire day. Well, I did manage to make my bed and vaccum the downstairs, oh and I did make all of us Dentist appointments today to. So I guess it wasn't a total waste. But I think I want a do over. Then this afternoon about 3:00 a thunderstorm blew in and brought us some marble size hail. That was kind of scary. I think it just sounded way worse than it was. I did manage to get some pictures though. Some of them were up to an inch in size. It was kind of neat. Just glad my car was in the garage. Ha! As soon as that ended we jumped in the car to go get the big kids from school and it was pretty dark and lightening like crazy but I had to go get them. As soon as I drove up and got in line, I saw everyone leaving their cars and running in the building. So I rolled down my window because there was a lady screaming and she was saying, "get in now!" So I yanked the boys out of the car and we ran in, siren's I guess were going off. So we hunkered down in a class room for a good thirty minutes and then it was gone and done. When we came out of the school it was just a beautiful as could be. Sun shining and all. Crazy! No tornadoes though. It gave the kids a pretty good scare though. They were none to happy when I finally got to them. But all is well and they went out to play in the mud this afternoon. So all is good. Supposed to be like that all week though. I guess it's just that time of year. Spring Showers! Well, I best run. Hope all is well with you all! Maybe next weekend will be better! I can't wait and it's just Monday! :)

You had an exciting Monday! The sirens blaring used to freak me out, but now we go stand out in the yard and wonder "where's the tornado?" We had hail during the early morning Monday but I don't think it was very large, could hear it pounding on the roof.

Seeing the picture of Landon with the muddy feet reminds me of the picture of Hailey when she came in from the backyard (when y'all lived in Greenville), mud from one end to the other. She had to go straight to the bathtub.
