Parent Job Description
PARENT- Job Description
POSITION: Mom, Mommy, Mama, Ma Dad, Daddy, Dada, Pa, Pop
JOB DESCRIPTION: Long term, team players needed, for challenging permanent work in an, often chaotic environment. Candidates must possess excellent communication and organizational skills and be willing to work variable hours, which will include evenings and weekends and frequent 24 hour shifts on call. RESPONSIBILITIES: The rest of your life. Must be willing to be hated, at least temporarily, until someone needs $5. Must be willing to bite tongue repeatedly. Also, must possess the physical stamina of a pack mule and be able to go from zero to 60 mph in three seconds flat in case, this time, the screams from the backyard are not someone just crying wolf. Must screen phone calls, maintain calendars and coordinate production of multiple homework projects. Must have ability to plan and organize social gatherings for clients of all ages and mental outlooks. Must be willing to be indispensable one minute, an embarrassment the next. Must handle assembly and product safety testing of a half million cheap, plastic toys, and battery operated devices. Must always hope for the best but be prepared for the worst. POSSIBILITY FOR ADVANCEMENT & PROMOTION: None. Your job is to remain in the same position for years, without complaining, constantly retraining and updating your skills, so that those in your charge can ultimately surpass you
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: None required unfortunately. On-the-job training offered on a continually exhausting basis.
WAGES AND COMPENSATION : Get this! You pay them! Offering frequent raises and bonuses. A balloon payment is due when they turn 18 because of the assumption that college will help them become financially independent. When you die, you give them whatever is left. The oddest thing about this reverse-salary scheme is that you actually enjoy it and wish you could only do more.
BENEFITS: While no health or dental insurance, no pension, no tuition reimbursement, no paid holidays and no stock option s are offered; this job supplies limitless opportunities for personal growth, unconditional love, and free hugs and kisses for life if you play your cards right.

Calgon take me away....
Okay, I just can't seem to catch a break and I feel like running away, (okay not really.) Allen started throwing up about two this afternoon and has been at it ever since. So now i'm wasing the bedding agian. Just what we needed... Let's see we have a stomach bug, broncitus, probably walking phenonia, thrush, oh and did I mention the head lice. Man is this wonderful or what??? I'm flustered.... Stay far away.... Nothing makes me feel worse as a mom, than when I can't seem to keep my family well. But I think it's just been a bad year. Everyone I know has had something or another. So hopefully it's not me. I promise I do keep my house clean and sanitary. Although, i'm begining to worry myself. Guess we just need a good bleaching. ha ha ha.... Better run got sick ones to care for.... If you don't hear back from me, you'll know we all have it. Ha! :)

Some Better....
Hey all....
Hope this finds you all well. I am some better. I finished my antibiotic on Tuesday but started another round yesterday. I can't seem to shake this. And then I also now have something called "Thrush." It's really discusting. It's some kind of yeast that grows in your mouth due to all the antibiotics I've been on and so now I have an antibiotic for that as well. It is very painful and the medicine is so discusting I can't even begin to tell you. You have to swish it around your mouth and then swallow it four times a day. Oh man, is it nasty. Not fun at all. But I am some better just still don't have a whole lot of energy and the cough is still pretty nasty. Hopefully this round of antibiotics will kick it. I hope so, if not I'm just going to have William put me out of my missery. He he he... I am tempted though. Other than that we are all pret. Bryan came home with head lice yesterday so I buzzed his head and Allen's. I do not want that mess again. So today I must wash all bedding and such. Whoo hoo.... I checked everyone else and no one else had it. Lauren got it last year and it's so not fun. The joys of childhood, huh? At least with the boys I can just buzz them almost bald and I don't have to comb it for hours at a time. I hope that did it. Anyways, I will take a picture of them. William about had a stroke when he saw what I did. But dang it will grow back. I just didn't want to have to deal with that and I thought that was the easiest way. If they don't have any hair to live in then they won't live, right????? I don't think I'm that crazy. It logical thinking, right????? If your kids have ever had it you'd understand. I'd shave us girls if I could. I've already told them we are all being treated this weekend reguardless if we have it or not. So they were so excited about that. It's two hours of sitting with mayo in your hair and then washing it in vinager. Yeah hooo.... It's great. But let me tell ya, it does the trick. I spent so much money on all that other crud last year and I mean a couple of hundred and Nothing helped. Finally someone told me about this and it worked like a champ. The best thing you can do, hands down. And it's cheap. It's just a pill and not much fun. So that's what my weekend looks like. Hope yours is better. I guess I best run. Especailly now that i've depressed you all. he ha he. I really do hope you all have a great weekend. See ya!!!!

I'm still here
Barley! I've been sick yet again. I finally had to break down and go to the Dr. yesterday. I've been sick off and on since Christmas. Anyways, I have a really bad broncial infection that is more likely moving into walking phenomia. Whoo Hoo.... So I got loaded up on meds and so far I do feel better. At least I can get up today. Since, Monday I've felt like I'd just rather die. So it's been a very rough week. Nothing makes me feel worse as a mom than to not be able to take care of them. I'm telling you though I was out of it. I sent them all to school yesterday thinking it was Friday and told them they were going to have pizza (pizza is every friday) and that the weekend was almost here. I just had no idea what I was doing. I hope they all looked decent. ha ha ha... Anyways, I just wanted to say hi and let you know what's going on. I have a ton of catching up to do. Especailly since they are all about to go naked to school. That won't be good... Hope you all have a great weekend. Please, excuse anything I miss spelled. I'm a horrible speller and my spell check has stopped working for some reason. Love you all!
