Splash Station

A friend came in town yesterday and called to see if we could meet for a little visit. So we met her at Splash Station. It's a miniture water park here close by our home. The kids had a great time. It was small enough I could let Lauren and Hailey roam around by themselves and the boys and I stayed in the little kid area. They all had a blast. Landon does not like water and so he and I stayed in the shade but he had fun just playing in his chair and around the table. We had a nice visit with our friends too. It was great to see them. Nothing like a good ol water park... Oh yeah, I'm not sure who the other kid is in the top picture. I guess he just thought he'd like to be apart of our picture. So no, I didn't have any other children. he he he...

Brotherly Sympathy...

I have been trying to get this shot for weeks and I finally got one. It's not the best but it will do. Allen is in trouble alot, bless his heart. He just can't seem to help it. Anyways, William started having him put his nose on this wall for his time out. Less playing that way and he can't see anyone. Anyways, he goes there quite often and so Landon has decided that he will join him, out of sympathy, I guess. It's so sweet, he'll run over there and stand there with him. Usually for just a second but none the less. Sometimes he even takes his little arm and wraps it around his leg. I guess for love and support. I have to say it's just so darn cute. Or maybe he's just practicing. I haven't quite decided. Ha!

It's over!!!!

Yeah! The school year is over. Well it will being another three hours or so. But I'm officially done. Whoo Hoo! :) This has been just a crazy week. Hailey had a graduation/awards ceremony on Monday night then Lauren's and Bryan's was yesterday. Hailey's was a little sad. It made me really realize that she's growing up and no longer a baby. She's an official preteen I guess you'd say. Wow! She looked so big and grown up, up there on that stage. They made it really special too. It's been a good week just crazy. So I can say I'm glad they will be off for awhile. Now, I'm sure it won't last long. Probably by Monday I'll be begging for school to start again. He he he he.... Hopefully not! I guess that will be another post all together. Ha! Well, I best run. I'm playing the good mom today, a Mrs. Clever roll, and making cookies to celebrate. How good am I??? he he he... Hey I even put special notes in all their lunch boxes today telling them how proud I was. Brownie Points!!! :) Yea I know it's corny but they love it. I got to give them short glimpses of love so they will have something good to tell there therapist later in life, especially since my main goal in life it to torture them and embarrass them at all costs. (that's just another post w/ a bit of frustration) Ha! Love ya!
