Saturday morning we were on our way out and had to stop and rescue this poor little kitten. It was sitting in the middle of the road, in the pouring rain, scared to death. She was too scared to move. My intensions were to just move her off the road but my little Lauren's heart was broken that I was going to just leave it. It's face was bloody and she was all wet, how dare I even consider leaving the poor thing. So... me being the sucker that I am, wrapped her up and brought her home. She now has a name and everything (Smokey). I guess she'll have to stay.

She is beautiful! and very lucky that Lauren has such a loving, kind heart - and her mommy too. Do you think someone just left her there? She looks right at home now.
